What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and password (stored securely by our sign-in provider, never in plain text).
Business data you enter: items, prices, stock counts, orders, sales, cash drawer records and settings.
Back Booth messages: if a venue turns on the Back Booth, the display name and messages a guest types, shown to others in that room and kept only for the night, plus a private device id used to apply mutes and message limits.
Billing details: your subscription status. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and are never seen or stored by us.

How we use it

To run the Service for your business, to manage your subscription, to send account emails such as sign-in confirmations and password resets, and to keep the Service secure.

Who can see your data

Only people in your business you have invited. Each business's data is separated in our database. We do not sell your data. We use these service providers to operate Staff Assist: Supabase (database and sign-in), Stripe (payments) and Netlify (website hosting). They process data on our behalf.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember device settings. We do not use advertising cookies.

Your choices

You can update or delete your business data in the app. To delete your account and data, or to ask a question about your data, contact us at the address below.

Retention

We keep your data while your account is open. After an account ends we may delete its data following the period described in our Terms.
